The initial public release of Veridis Fraud Guard Free, providing WooCommerce merchants with local blocklist protection against repeat problematic orders and uncollected Cash on Delivery parcels.

Protection modes and checkout control

  • Four operational modes: Off, Block, Hold, and Warn
  • Block mode: Prevents checkout completion for matching customers with a clear, configurable merchant notice
  • Hold mode: Automatically places matching Cash on Delivery (COD) orders on hold (wc-on-hold) while allowing non-COD orders to complete payment with a private operational note
