WooCommerce Order Integration
One-Click Block Customer workflow, order detail meta boxes, order notes, and HPOS integration in Veridis Fraud Guard.
Veridis Fraud Guard Free integrates deeply into everyday WooCommerce order management, giving store managers immediate actionability right when handling problematic orders.
One-Click Block Customer
Section titled “One-Click Block Customer”When reviewing an order that resulted in an uncollected COD parcel, fraudulent chargeback, or abusive behavior, store managers should not need to copy and paste customer details into a separate settings page.
Fraud Guard adds a dedicated One-Click Block Customer workflow directly onto the WooCommerce order edit screen.
How to use One-Click Block:
Section titled “How to use One-Click Block:”- Open any WooCommerce order in WooCommerce → Orders.
- Locate the Veridis Fraud Guard panel on the order screen. The panel displays all available customer identifiers:
- Billing email address
- Billing phone number
- Customer IP address
- Email domain
- Click Block Customer to block all available identifiers at once, or toggle individual identifiers on and off with a single click.
- You can also unblock any identifier directly from the order edit panel at any time.
When identifiers are blocked from an order, active rules are created in the Blocklist and a private order note is logged on the order documenting the action.
Order details meta box
Section titled “Order details meta box”On the order edit screen, Fraud Guard displays a dedicated meta box showing protection evaluation details for that specific order:
- Evaluation status: Indicates whether the order was evaluated (Clean, Matched Rule, or Off).
- Matched identifier: If the order matched a rule, displays the exact identifier value and rule type.
- Applied action: Shows whether the order was flagged with a note (Warn mode) or placed on hold (Hold mode).
- Active blocklist links: Provides direct links to view or edit the corresponding blocklist rule.
Private order notes
Section titled “Private order notes”In both Hold and Warn modes, Fraud Guard logs structured private order notes in the native WooCommerce order notes thread:
- Hold mode (Cash on Delivery match):
Veridis Fraud Guard: Order placed on hold. Customer matched active blocklist rule [phone: +15551234567].
- Hold mode (Non-COD match):
Veridis Fraud Guard: Notice: Customer matched active blocklist rule [email: [email protected]]. Prepaid payment completed normally.
- Warn mode match:
Veridis Fraud Guard: Audit: Customer matched active blocklist rule [ip: 198.51.100.42]. Order allowed in Warn mode.
Private order notes are visible only to store administrators and shop managers. They are never sent to customers in order email notifications.
High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) compatibility
Section titled “High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) compatibility”WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) stores order data in dedicated custom database tables (wp_wc_orders) rather than standard WordPress posts (wp_posts).
Fraud Guard Free is natively compatible with HPOS:
- Operates identically whether HPOS is in Authoritative mode (
High-performance order storage enabled) or Compatibility mode with table synchronization. - Utilizes official WooCommerce order CRUD methods and modern order action hooks (
woocommerce_order_actions). - Declares official HPOS compatibility via
FeaturesUtil::declare_compatibility('custom_order_tables').
